DCN will provide contractors with the information and resources they need to
help their customers successfully repair or rebuild their home after a disaster
strikes. As member DCN, you'll have an added edge in the marketplace. Events
associated with disasters can cause traumatic stress, and recovery can be a
slow and painful process. Consider the effects of serious injuries, the loss
of a home and personal property on a homeowner. Stress reactions, emotional
and physical strain are normal responses in the aftermath of a disaster. Contractors
who have had training through the Disaster Contractors Network understand the
stress and strain disaster survivors' experience.
